Every day, elected officials at the local, county, state and federal levels of government make public policy decisions that impact rental-housing providers and the greater rental-housing industry. The Apartment Association of Orange County (AAOC) is here to serve as your voice on the government issues affecting the rental housing industry in Orange County, parts of Riverside County, as well as at the State Capitol, in Sacramento.
AAOC works closely with both elected officials and government staff to ensure our members' rights and interests are represented and protected. Additionally, as members of the National Apartment Association (NAA) and the California Rental Housing Assocaition (CalRHA), our members receive additional representation at the federal and state levels of government.
We invite our members to take an active role in helping to formulate association positions and shape public policy by serving on the AAOC Legislative Committee. We also encourage member contributions to AAOC's Political Action Committees.
For more information or to get involved, contact AAOC Vice President of External Affairs Chip Ahlswede at Chip@aaoc.com or (714) 245-9500.
AAOC makes significant steps towards unwinding invasive policies that were significantly damaging to both tenants and property owners alike. Continue Reading
